INTRODUCTION:
Wesport is working to support the creation of 4 Community Sports Networks across the West of England each with a remit to pull together a range of local organisations from health, sport, educations and the private sector to co-ordinate delivery at ground level. The Community Development Forum will be used to share good practice between these CSNs and work on joint initiatives.

TERMS OF REFERENCE:
The group shares the approach of all CSNs in working to increase participation, widen access to opportunities and "join up" local delivery.
Specifically, the Wesport Community Development Group will work to:
Share and communicate practices between West of England local sporting networks (CSNs), benefiting from the different arrangements and approaches as local structures evolve, developing opportunities to work together.
AIMS:
- Providing leadership in identifying the successes and challenges faced in developing local networks
- To co-ordinate, develop and implement actions to support local networks and Wesport in achieving the CDG group purpose
- To take a forward thinking approach to working together to benefit our communities
- Facilitating consultation with local stakeholders and providing a ?community development voice? to inform and influence Wesport actions and policy
