Wesport is a member of the local West of England olympic steering group Team West of England which is dedicated to driving local legacy from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. More information on the work of Team West of England can be found here
Team West of England is a member of the wider Team South West which works to develop initiatives beneficial for the South West region, from Gloucestershire in the North to Cornwall in the South. We are also lucky to have an Olympic venue in the region in the form of the National Sailing Academy at Weymouth and Portland, which will bring real, tangible benefits to the South West in the run up to, during and after the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
