Job Vacancy: Partnership Director - Bucks Sport
Bucks Sport is a well established County Sports Partnership with an excellent reputation both locally and nationally. Our current Director is moving on to lead the nationwide network of CSPs, and so we are looking for an experienced leader to continue the Partnership’s development and take us to the next level.
You will be building on strong foundations to develop and maintain the support of existing stakeholders, while seeking new means to maximise the resources available to support the development of sport. We have a great team, committed partners and a vibrant volunteer network as well as strong support and
financial backing from Sport England, national partners and our host Aylesbury Vale District Council. The partnership is well placed to achieve our aims to widen access, increase participation and improve levels of performance in all aspects of sport and physical activity.
As well as Buckinghamshire being a great place to live and work, our partnership boasts a vibrant sporting infrastructure with a number of strong Olympic and Paralympic links including iconic venues such as Dorney Lake in the South, Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Aylesbury, and a number of Governing Bodies based in Milton Keynes with its aspiration to become an International Sporting City.
As they enter the most exciting period in British sporting history, they have a strong legacy programme in place to capitalise on the forthcoming home Olympic and Paralympic Games which provides a fantastic platform to move forwards in the coming years.
