Local Leaders
London 2012 want to encourage as many people as possible to sign up to become Local Leaders. The Local Leaders initiative is an invitation to people across the UK who 'get stuff done' and are excited about the Games. It encourages them to bring the Games into their community, creating celebrations for the Olympic Torch Relay and other key moments during the Games.
Garden for the Games: In spring 2012, get ready to celebrate the Games through all things green fingered. Take pride in your patch – it might be your garden, street or your community allotments. There are some really interesting and quirky projects getting involved – everything from growing orchards in Burnley to carrot relays in Brixton! Find out more at:
