West of England School Games - March Update
Plans are well underway for the summer School Games festival on Wednesday 20th June at the University of Bath. Medals are ordered and schools are getting their teams ready for their summer term Level 2 competitions to try and qualify for a place at the festival. At the Summer School Games festival there will also be some open entry events as well as lots of cultural and media activities for pupils to get involved in.
A training day will be held on Thursday 31st May for any students who wishes to then volunteer at the festival gaining valuable event experience.
Here at Wesport we are producing a series of documents to try and explain what is going on with the School Games. The first of which is called ‘School Games at a Glance’.
