Volunteer Opportunity with Wesport
Wesport are offering an exciting 3 month volunteer placement to gain valuable event management, administration and sports development experience within a County Sports Partnership.
Programmes you will have the opportunity to be involved with include:
- Event Management support of School Games (London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Legacy Programme)
- Administration of coach advertisements and tracking of successful placements
- Recruitment and deployment of Sport Makers (London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Legacy Programme)
- Support for Community Games programme (London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Legacy Programme)
The role will be mainly office based, working flexible office hours starting after Easter through to the end of June 2012. The Wesport office is based at the University West of England, Frenchay Campus and we will be able to offer travel expenses.
Please note all applicants must be 18 yrs or over.
We will be looking for someone who can commit at least one day a week with the opportunity for more hours if desired.
