“DIAMOND” Volunteers
Does your group have any volunteers who have served the community as long as the Queen? If so, VANS (Voluntary Action North Somerset) would like to thank them!
As part of National Volunteers Week VANS will be holding a Thank You Cream Tea and awarding ‘Long Service’ Certificates to volunteers in North Somerset.
VANS are looking for long-serving volunteers (anyone volunteering for over 30 years and especially any ‘Diamond’ Volunteers who have clocked up 60 years!). It doesn’t have to be with the same group – just adding up their volunteering over the years.
Please send VANS their names and how to contact them (either via your voluntary group or directly) By 18th May 2012.
The twenty longest-serving volunteers will receive an Invitation to a celebratory Cream Tea and award ceremony during National Volunteers Week and all volunteers with over thirty years service will be entered into a free Raffle with some great hank-you prizes.
And ALL volunteers are gems of course – let us know if you’d like a template of Volunteers Week Thank You certificates for you to award to your volunteers during National Volunteers Week (1st to 7th June).
