M Shed Appeal for Sports Trophies
Do you belong to a local sports team or club? Would you or your team like to feature in M Shed’s new exhibition?
If you are part of a community sports team or club in Bristol, and you have a trophy or cup that you would be prepared to lend to the museum between now and September, then M Shed curators would like to hear from you.
The M Shed are looking for trophies to represent a range of different sports played on or in the city’s parks, pitches, courts, clubs, pools, tracks and streets.
Trophies can be for any sport, at any amateur level, large or small, traditional or made up. They just need your club or team to be based in Bristol and be willing to lend a picture or two to display alongside. Photographs might show you playing sport, with the trophy, or during celebrations - anything that sums up the sporting spirit!
This appeal is open until Tuesday 8th May.
