England Athletics 2012 Awards - Run England
Run England is currently seeking nominations for the England Athletics 2012 Regional and National Awards.
Who is it who has helped you in your running? The volunteers who run their sport are very often the unsung heroes of the sport - who have given their time and effort to help the serious athlete, recreational runner or complete beginner on their way.
They are ensuring that the sport of running and athletics will make the most of the opportunities the Olympic and Paralympic Games present and that they will remain a welcoming, vibrant and successful sport long into the future.
The Run England awards are part of the England Athletics Regional and National Awards 2012. These awards are supported by Sweatshop, Athletics Weekly, the AAAs and Sunwise, and give us as a sport the opportunity to reward the contributions and commitment to our sport these people have shown over the past 12-month period.
The 2012 England Athletics Regional and National Awards provide a unique opportunity to recognise the outstanding contributions made to our sport by these people who give their time, energy and expertise on a voluntary basis.
Three Run England award categories have been added to the annual programme. They are:
- Leader of the Year
- Group of the Year
- Project of the Year
Further information on the categories, plus an on-line entry form can be found at: www.runengland.org/awards-2012
