Summer Holidays Just Got Even Better with Free Bike Rides for Families

This summer holidays busy Mums, Dads and Grandparents are on the lookout for free activities to keep the kids active and amused. In Bath, Sky Ride Local bike rides offer a great day out and include lots of goodies for children aged 15 and under who take part in one or more, free bike rides. Rides are free and perfect for families. Gifts for kids include a goody bag, an amazing frog LED bike light and a fantastic Sky Ride Local hoodie.

Sky Ride Local rides are the perfect opportunity for the whole family to get together and take part in a fun community bike ride to explore the local area.  All rides are led by British Cycling trained Ride Leaders, who are on hand to offer encouragement and support. In partnership with Bath North East Somerset Council,rides are available at a number of different levels that cater all ages and abilities.

  2. Sunday 5th August 2012 at 10.00am from Batheaston Car Park London Road East Batheaston Opposite the George & Dragon pub, BA1 7NB
  3. Sunday 5th August 2012 at 2.00pm from the Overflow car park of the Canal Visitors Centre The Bath & Dundas Canal Co., Brass Knocker Basin, BA2 7JD 
  4. Sunday 12th August 2012 at 10.00am from the Lower Car Park, The Canal Visitor Centre, Brassknocker Basin Monkton Combe, BA2 7JD
