With an ever evolving network of partners and organisations, the need for effective partnership working is crucial for the West of England to excel.
The West of England Sport Trust therefore invites you to its fourth professional network conference, aimed at building a successful professional network, equipped to address today’s challenges and increase participation.
The conference aims to disseminate information to the professional sporting network and provide a training and development opportunity. During the day there will be a series of keynotes and workshops, with a range of high quality speakers.
There will be updates on national plans and strategies, looking at what these look like in the locality. You will have the chance to develop your personal skills enabling you to be better equipped within the changing environment, and there will be the opportunity to do some networking.
The conference is aimed at those partners who work within the West of England:- including those from Unitary Authorities, School Sport Partnerships, National Governing Bodies, HE and FE establishments, Health and Community organisations and Leisure providers.
There are a wide variety of speakers, covering a wide range of topics, and a chance to network. Key note speakers include Tim Hollingsworth from UK Sport, Mark Mungal and Kerish Maharaj from Trinidad and Tobago Alliance for Sport and Physical Education (TTASPE) and Kitrina Douglas, former Professional Golfer and currently working for University of Bristol.
