This is a once seen, never forgotten safeguarding performance by the Geese Theatre Company, which is aimed at all those who come into contact with Children and Young People, National, Regional, County Club Welfare officers, Club committee members, Regional and County Development Officers, Local Authority Officers, School Personnel, Safeguarding Leads, Youth Groups etc.
The cost of the performance is £25 per person. If you are a Wesport member organisation, a club with a national accreditation or a coach on CoachWest there is a reduced rate of £20 per person.
Nick Slinn, National Development Officer for the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit:
'In partnership with several other organisations, the CPSU engaged Geese Theatre to provide input to a major sports safeguarding conference in February 2010. Over 250 people from a variety of organisations with an interest in protecting children in sport attended. Feedback on the conference, and on the impact of Geese’s performance in particular, was uniformly positive. Geese were able to use drama, humor and audience interaction to bring many aspects of safeguarding to life and helped to put this work in a real-world sports context’
