Exciting Coaching Opportunity
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about coaching and motivating individuals to play sport. This opportunity would suit a currently qualified coach in any sport or an individual looking to become involved in coaching.
BADMINTON England and Wesport are working in partnership to increase the number of badminton coaches across the West of England. We are offering five coach bursaries to potential coaches who want to be part of a wider programme to increase the number of adults playing badminton.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are available to deliver badminton across the community at various times throughout the day
- Would like to gain a level 1 coaching qualification
- Are motivated and enthusiastic about engaging adults in sport
- Have a basic understanding of badminton
- Are over 16years old.
The programme will involve individuals gaining their UKCC Level 1 Badminton coaching qualification and then designing and implementing a series of programmes to increase the number of adults playing badminton. BADMINTON England and Wesport will provide guidance throughout the programme to support all new coaches from qualification to delivery.
