Volunteers Week 1 - 7 June 2011

Volunteers’ Week (1st – 7th June) is an annual event, coordinated by Volunteer England, which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. The Week plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to society, while inspiring others to get involved too.

Over 2 million volunteers contribute at least 1 hour a week to volunteering in sports, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those volunteers who spend hours working in sport and physical activity across the West of England.
