World Sports Coaching Conference
Are you a coach or someone interested in becoming a coach? Do you want to learn about what it takes to create a winning culture whatever the environment you coach in? Do you want to see some world class presenters?
Hosted by BADMINTON England, this World Sports Coaching Conference will take place at the iconic Wembley Stadium on the 11th and 12th August 2011 and is set to be a must for all sports coaches and non coaches alike. A sample of the world class line up includes:
- Howard Webb MBE – this world class football referee provides an insight into the relationship between coach and officials on and off the pitch.
- Frank Dick OBE – has in the past coached Boris Becker and Daley Thompson, to name but a few. Now a leading inspirational and motivational speaker Frank will give insight (plus many anecdotes!) into how a winning environment can be created and fostered.
- Olympic Silver Medallist Gail Emms and Andy Wood – the successful coach and athlete pairing that won Silver at the Olympics. Gail and Andy will talk us through the importance of creating positive athlete relationships in the pursuit of success.
- Nathan Robertson’s Coaching Chain – Martin Andrew, BADMINTON England Junior Programme Head Coach will explore (with the help of Nathan’s past coaches!) how Nathan got into badminton and the challenges he and his coaches faced on the road to success.
