Job Vacancy: Workforce Development Officer - South West Region

Salary: £28,639 (plus benefits)

Location: South West

Contract Type: All Hours Worked

The ASA is seeking a Workforce Development Officer to join the South West team within the English National Programmes department.

The purpose of the Workforce Development Officer will be to co-ordinate at a regional and sub regional level the planning and delivery of the ASA’s recruit, train, support and retain workforce strategy.

The successful candidate will need to be able to absorb and impart information to others, have a systematic approach to problems and work within standard operating procedures. 

The role requires excellent communication skills, as the role involves liaising with people both internally and externally.  Project and time management skills are essential and the individual must have a flexible approach to work with an ability to work effectively as a team and on their own initiative. Knowledge of the Qualifications and Credit Framework is an advantage.
