Job Vacancy: British Water Ski & Wakeboard - Athlete & Education Porgramme Manager
The principal aims of the role are to act as main lead in developing an integrated elite athlete and talent identification process to deliver long term medal success within the sport currently focussed on our funded Excel programme. Additionally to develop our educational programmes, in particular development, management and administration of our UKCC coaching qualifications. Responsibility for a budget of circa £200K and a variety of direct reports e.g. funding partners.
Salary: £35K - £40K
Contract Status: Permanent (3 month probationary period) based at our HQ in Chertsey.
Hours: 35 hours per week minimum. A flexible approach to work time is required on occasions including evening and weekend working.

About British Water Ski & Wakeboard
British Water Ski & Wakeboard is the National Governing Body for water skiing and wakeboarding in Great Britain and is recognised as such by the UK and English Sports Councils and is in receipt of Exchequer Funding from them. We are a non-profit making organisation with all of our income invested in developing and protecting the sport throughout Britain from the grassroots level through to our top athletes. BWSW is responsible for the development of the sport; co-ordination of national and international competition; selection of National teams; training and registration of coaches and officials and increasing the opportunities for participation in water skiing. BWSW actively
encourages newcomers to the sport, promotes good practice and safety and works to enhance and improve standards of coaching and driving. We also have highly active competition programmes in all divisions of the sport.
BWSW has three distinct areas of operation – Development (dealing with grassroots participation, environmental issues and qualifications), Excellence (dealing with performance and international success) and Business / Finance.
