Get Set for the Olympic Torch Relay
LOCOG has created some amazing new resources to help schools learn about the Torch Relay.
The ‘Get Set for the Olympic Torch Relay’ education resource is available to all schools registered with Get Set, London 2012’s official education programme.
A further resource will launch next year to encourage schools to plan a welcome for the Olympic Flame and show support for the Torchbearers LOCOG are also offering 212 members of the Get Set network the chance to nominate a 12 year-old student to run with the Olympic Flame.
To secure tickets to the Games and have the chance to carry the Olympic Flame, schools must join the Get Set network by Friday 16 December 2011.
