Wellsway Inspire Other Schools to 'Plan Your 2012'
Having been awarded a grant from LOCOG to be an advocate school for 'Plan Your 2012', Wellsway School in Keynsham hosted a Conference on the evening of Wednesday 23rd November for teachers from local schools to support them in their plans to celebrate the upcoming Games and to use the Values within their schools.
Visiting teachers were very appreciative of an extensive supply of resources and an insight into how Wellsway School have embedded the Olympic and Paralympic Values as their whole school values. The visitors were hugely complimentary about the contributions made by Wellsway’s Values Leaders Leah Barnett, Dan Money, Anna Tweedie, Abi Sharp, Tiegen Millen and Will Singleton. Director of Specialism, Mrs L.Riddoch would like to thank them for their tremendous support.
