LOCOG release further Gymnastics and Diving test event tickets

Following huge demand for the London Prepares test event series, the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today announced that more tickets will go on sale for the Gymnastics and Diving test events.

Tickets for International Gymnastics will go back on sale tomorrow, Thursday 15 December at 10am. 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 tickets go back on sale on Tuesday 17 January.

International Gymnastics is a vital event for the British men’s team who have yet to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The event which showcases both world class men and women’s teams is split into three disciplines; Artistic, Trampoline and Rhythmic and takes place at the North Greenwich Arena (also known as The O2) from 10-18 January. Tickets are priced at £10-£20 for full price tickets and £5-£10 for young people and seniors. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday 15 December at 10am.

The last opportunity for athletes to qualify for Individual and Synchronised Diving at the London 2012 Olympic Games will take place at the 18th FINA Diving World Cup 2012 from 20-26 February. Ticket holders, paying from £10-£30 for full price tickets, and £5-£15 for young people and seniors, can watch Britain’s best Olympic Diving hopes compete against an international field in the Aquatics Centre. The event is supported by UK Sport as part of the World Class Events Programme and tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 17 January at 10am.

Debbie Jevans, LOCOG Director of Sport said:
“We were delighted by the demand for test event tickets when they went on sale last month. Tickets sold quickly so we have worked hard to be able to offer additional seats which we are now putting on sale. This is a unique opportunity to watch world class sport in London 2012 venues”.
Tickets will go on sale via www.ticketmaster.co.uk/londonpreparesseries As a proud sponsor of London 2012, Visa (debit, credit, prepaid) is the only card accepted for online ticket sales for these London Prepares series events.
