10,000 Schools Qualify for Tickets to the London 2012 Games
St Jude’s Church of England Primary School in Lambeth has become the 10,000th school to qualify for tickets to the London 2012 Olympic and Parlaympic Games donated through the ‘Ticketshare’ scheme. The school has secured their allocation by joining the London 2012 Education Programme’s Get Set network which recognises and rewards schools’ commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values.

Schools Get Set for London 2012 with Grants to Plan their Games
Schools across England that are engaged with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games are invited to apply for a grant of up to £8,800 to support other schools in their area to also get involved in London 2012 and make the most of opportunities available through the official London 2012 education programme ‘Get Set’.

2012 School Games Details Unveiled
Chief Executive of the Youth Sport Trust, Sue Campbell, joined Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, Jeremy Hunt and Lord Coe at the Aquatics Centre to announce details of the 2012 School Games national event, taking place in the Olympic Park next year.
