Due to the impending retirement of the current Chairman, the South West Region of Swim England are seeking applications from suitably experienced individuals interested in the strategic role of Chairman of the Regional Management Board.
This is a voluntary role for an initial four-year period.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide leadership and direction to Regional Management Board members, paid employees and to members of the Swim England South West Region. You will in addition manage staff directly employed by the Region.
The successful applicant will liaise with Swim England, other partners and outside Agencies to promote and develop the Swim England South West Region, ensure it remains financially viable and complies with all relevant current legislation. Proven leadership, management skills and knowledge of modern business practice is essential.
