The Wesport Core Team aims to support the wider network of organisations involved in sport and physical activity by acting as a signpost for services across the West of England.

It also aims to help organisations in a number of ways including the following:

• Marketing and Communication.
• Promotion of events and courses.
• Co-ordination of Courses and Initiatives that support the Trust objectives.
• Data Collection and Management.
• Distribution of news and views.
• Supporting the networks that evolve as a result of joint working.
• Investigating sources of finance both within the West of England and outside.
• Supporting research in the areas of sport and physical activities.
