This current round of Together Fund is now closed for applications.
Wesport have been administering Phases 1-3 of the Tackling Inequalities Fund since April 2020. As we progress on from Phase 3, the fund will be changing to Sport England’s Together Fund. The Together Fund will utilise investment to help reduce the negative impact of the coronavirus and the widening inequalities within sport and physical activity.
Insight has shown that certain groups were disproportionately affected by the pandemic and impacted their ability to be physically active. Therefore, the Together Fund will focus on four priority groups:
Culturally diverse communities
Disabled people
People with long-term health conditions
People on low incomes
Please watch the video below to offer you some information about the journey we have been on, up to this point, and how the new Together Fund will work.
We encourage applicants to only apply for what they need so that this funding can go as far as possible across the West of England. Through previous rounds of funding, we have seen the average application be around £5000.
As mentioned in the video above, Wesport are collaborating with Voscur to implement the Together Fund in the West of England.
