Somer Valley is being transformed into a giant game and you are invited to play!
Beat the Street is a free, fun, walking, cycling and wheeling game which gets both children and adults out and about in the local area, having fun and keeping healthy. The Somer Valley game runs from 17th May 2023 to 28th June 2023.
Beat the Street is designed to get children and communities moving by helping people to make small changes, such as walking or cycling more often, to improve physical and mental health and help embed physical activity into everyday life.
So far 1.6 million people have taken part in games in 154 places across the UK and beyond.
15 local primary schools will be taking part. You can join in and play as an individual or as a team such as:
- Workplace
- Community Group
- Sports Team
- Club
