Bathscape

Feelgood Walk Leader Volunteer

Feelgood walk leaders and assistants contribute by offering walks throughout the year. The
walks occur on Tuesdays and start at 2pm from various locations in Twerton and Whiteway.
They last approximately 40-60 minutes and cover 1-2 miles. The walks are aimed at people
wanting to improve their health and wellbeing, or taking their first steps to fitness. Benefits
of the Feelgood walks include meeting new people, increased energy, reduced stress
improved sleep and the opportunity to explore and enjoy the outdoors in a supportive
environment

Bathscape

Practical Conservation Volunteer

Bathscape is a 5 year landscape partnership project which aims to restore and reconnect
people with the natural landscape around Bath. Bathscape’s Community Action for Nature
(CAN) team is contributing to this by assisting with practical conservation activities. The
activities will vary depending on the season and the location; examples include habitat
management of wildflower meadows, parks and woodlands, scrub clearance and foot path
maintenance. The activities will take place in green spaces throughout Bath and the
surrounding countryside.

Apprentice Opportunities

COURSE 1, leading into either course 2 or 3  introduction to sport and physical activity

L1 certificate in sport and physical activity

Tag on maths / English award where applicable

TARGET MARKET – anyone with an interest in a career in the sports industry , but with no prior knowledge / qualifications in the area.

Gloucestershire Cricket Board

Women's & Girl's Community Coach 

The Gloucestershire Cricket Board wishes to appoint a Women's & Girl's Community Coach to support the implementation of its 2020-2024 Inspiring Gloucestershire Strategic Plan and to continue the great work that has already begun in this area. 

Contract: 37.5 hours a week (initial 2-year contract)

Salary: £18,000 plus benefits

Our aim in Gloucestershire is to grow the women's and girl's game significantly and make it far more prominent and visible. The baseline numbers are currently excellent but there is still so much more that can be achieved and for this we are looking to appoint an outstanding individual drive growth in all areas.

Contract: Permanent Contract: 37.5 hours as week

Salary: £21,000 to £24,000 per annum (depending on experience) PLUS benefits
