This Girl Can launch new phase of their campaign to close the ‘Enjoyment Gap’

A new phase of the This Girl Can campaign has been launched!

Their most recent research shows that 2.4 million fewer women than men strongly agree they enjoy getting active – this is what they have called the ‘Enjoyment Gap’. The enjoyment gap matters because enjoyment is one of the primary drivers of activity; but it is not inevitable, we can and must close it.

How can you play your part?

This year, This Girl Can will focus on four key action areas that, if addressed, will help more women feel that getting active is a more satisfying, enjoyable experience. The aim is to make the sports and activity options available to women more social, suitable, self-affirming and safe. No one knows your organisation, your team, your members or your community better than you. This Girl Can need your help to make sports and activity feel more enjoyable for women.
